We need stocking caps ASAP!
Imagine this:
Ship's position: Gulf of Alaska...540 N Latitude...1570 W Longitude
Heading: Westbound...15 knots
Wind: from the West...20 knots
Temperature: 2o C.
Swell height: 17 feet
Your job: Security check of bracing on containers.
Welcome to winter in the North Pacific,
Washington Coast and Gulf of Alaska!
Every seafarer uses watch caps...even the cook's steward that spends hours working in the freezer.
They're always asking for watch caps!
As you dig out winter clothing do you have extra, good, warm stocking caps?
Can you pick some up at the military surplus store or thrift store?
Logo wear? OK Balaclava? OK
Handmade? OK Camouflage and hunting? OK
Orange and green with pink stripes? Who knows why people like what they like!
Sparkles and sequins on red roses? Maybe not.
Our goal is 150 caps...
We just received 6 this morning. A friend bought out a surplus store's entire stock! Guarantee you this...six seafarers from India on the HUMBOLDT EXPRESS will be wearing them this Saturday.
We'll distribute them as fast as we get 'em.
Mail them to:
