The Princess Club date has been changed to Friday, Dec.14.
The grass has been trimmed around the church for the winter, the front steps are finished with a new coat of paint, the sign in the front of the church building is greatly improved, the wheelchair lift at the kitchen entrance has been pressure washed, and probably other improvements have been made. Thanks to those who volunteer and help keep up the church property.
Our building is a wonderful tool given by God, built and paid for by past generations, maintained by us today. The community is growing. More people are recognizing their need for God and the advantages of becoming a part of a safe Christian community. Only God knows the future, but there may be times we’ll need to double use the two main spaces in the building.
We already use the fellowship hall with as an overflow room for worship services, weddings, and other events. There may come a time when the sanctuary space is used for fellowship time, possibly even expanding the Potluck dinners and other uses.
Child Care at the Mug Exchange is available upon request. Call Shelly (927-9447) if you need child care. Also, if you are able, bring a plate of cookies to share! The WOW Mug Exchange for Women is a highlight for many during the Christmas Season. Invite other women from the community. The “ticket” is a mug that will bless another woman. In addition there will be games, laughter, and refreshments.
It’s time for SACC to provide food at Seeds of Hope on Thursday, Dec. 6. Several Women will be cooking and providing food. Talk to Shelly Simpson if you want to get in on the fun.

Bev Kirk, leader of the after school Good New Club at the Sumas Grade School writes: “We have had a total of 18 children from the school attend over 4 weeks (not including my family). Almost every day we have had some new children. There has been a really good spirit and we are getting to know the children better… Our main prayer request is for the God to help us to present the Gospel clearly, filling in their understanding of truth, and that they can be attentive and respective in their hearts. We appreciate your prayers and those at church.”
The GNC meets after school on full days of school in the gymnasium on Wednesdays, about 3:30. SACC is also providing snacks. If you want to make a donation talk to Linda Moe.
It’s time for the first of the month Potluck Dinner next Sunday, Dec. 2. Bring a favorite dish to share with others. When you invited guests let them know first time people are not expected to provide food, but to come as a guest. Even if somebody forgets to bring food they are more than welcome to join us. It’s great fun.
