Now that Billie is retired from playing every week on the keyboard, a team is being formed to serve on Sundays. Diane Bolin and Elizabeth Larson are two musicians that will help once or twice a month. The Worship team will lead the entire service from time to time. Betty Boon has graciously agreed to help on occasion, including next week. SACC is blessed. If you know other musicians to be considered, talk to Pastor Carl.
The new Foothills Fellowship sponsored by Seeds of Hope begins today at the Kendall Resource Center at 12:30 p.m. Today is an introductory day. Pray for the good people of the Foothills to have a safe place to gather, affirm each other, and experience the love of Christ. Talk to Pastor Jeff or Pastor Denny if you believe God is leading you to be involved and have questions about what that might look like.
Contact Marlene (988-0797) if you want to help with food in the coming weeks and months. People are needed to donate, prepare and serve food as well as set-up and clean-up.

Too Good to be True!
Look for the amazing around you; that which is good and right. Search for blessings that transform your life and add a richness to daily living. Don’t give in to the temptation to dwell on everything that is wrong. Be amazed that you have a wife or husband, children, the opportunity to go to school, a job, a home, a family, peace in your life, food on the table, a mother and father, a joy that goes beyond understanding. The world is an imperfect place, that’s easy to prove, yet grace abounds. Look for it!
“Too Good to be True” is the focus of the Christmas messages next month. Did you hear the news? Jesus is born. Amazing! Now that is news that is too good to be true! Yet it’s true!
The Sumas Christian Reformed Church is hosting the Christmas Carol Service this year at 7:00 PM on Sunday, December 2. SACC is invited to provide a special song, solo, or instrumental number to the service. Talk to Pastor Carl if you, or you are part of a group within the church, and you’d like to provide a song.
Today we receive the monthly helping hand offering. This provides an opportunity for you to directly help those in the community that need a little bit of extra help. The commitment is that 100% of the contributions will go to help local needs and that SACC will do our best for the money to be spent wisely.
The WOW Mug Exchange for Women is a highlight for many women during the Christmas Season. It takes place on Monday, Dec. 3. Invite other women from the community. The “ticket” is a mug that will bless another woman. In addition there will be games, laughter, and refreshments.
