“Lord, Come to My Messy House”
Your home is your sacred personal space. Some homes are hectic and others are peaceful. Not just anybody can walk into your home, but they need an invitation. Your home, whether it be an apartment, a hotel room, a trailer, a tent, or a house, is a place to rest. Your home is a place for sickness and health. People easily put on a tough exterior in public, but at home their true character is open. Fighting takes place in homes everyday, and so does reconciliation. Homes are a place of tension and peace. Families that sometimes love each other but don’t understand each other, reside under the same roof.
Invite Christ into your house, no matter the condition. The Lord Jesus Christ is waiting at the door. Join us this Summer at SACC to take a look at some of the homes Jesus visited, and why he’ll come to your home, too, when you ask him.
